You want to know about me? Well, I’m Brady Okic (pronounced oak-itch), I use He/Him/His pronouns, I’m a cis man who is Hispanic, Indigenous, and Caucasian mixed, born and raised in Des Moines, Iowa, and I’m someone who values social justice, proper representation over entertainment and media, and a good home cooked meal. I have stayed in Des Moines for the majority of my life up until I went to the University of Northern Iowa and moved to Cedar Falls. There I met lots of amazing people that have influenced me to grow and become better each year. While at UNI I rekindled my love for community involvement and leadership that I originally left behind as I graduated high school, and found a way to balance my love for performing and advocating for those in need. Now that I have finished college at the University of Northern Iowa, I’m back home in Des Moines for the remainder of the year working part time as a line Cook at a restaurant, freelance acting for commercials and auditioning at theatres in the general DSM area, and script writing a play about my Bosnian step-dad who came into my life as my father was absent and continued to raise me after he passed away. I hold a deep love for him and want to share his story with others so stay tuned!
Starting early 2026 you can catch me on tour with Missoula Children’s Theatre as an Actor/Director, and in May 2026 I’ll be moving to Chicago, Illinois to pursue a full time acting career! My journey has just begun, and I can assure you I will venture out into new, exciting, and fulfilling places. So watch me and see what I do next. I can’t wait to surprise you 🙂
